The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 reigns as the world’s most expensive car, created by the well renowned manufacturer of automobiles, Bugatti. With the company’s long years of experience in this kind of industry, they have created masterpieces and they have become the epitome of a company with a great passion for automobiles. The company was founded by father and son, Ettore and Jean Bugatti in the year 1901. Together, they were able to create remarkable and extraordinary combinations of art and technology in the automotive industry.
At around $1.7 million, the car is by far the most expensive car in production at present with the closest competitor, the Ferarri Enzon, coming in at around $1 million. For the price of the Veyron you could purchase both the Enzon, and the third place contender, the Pagani Zonda C12 F, which comes in just over $700,000. This price tag is not for nothing though, as the technology in this car, as well as the design and comfort features are all top of the line, and beyond anything most people have seen to date.
The Veyron is a combination of high performance and elegance. This super sports car possesses the capability to travel at remarkable speeds and it undeniably resembles the elements of a classic Bugatti design with a contemporary touch.
Not only is it the most expensive car, but it is also the fastest production car on the road today. Its 1001 HP engine pushes it to its top speed of over 250 mph, which is faster than the 240 mph of the previous holder of the top spot – the McLaran F1.
The Bugatti Veyron is both the fastest and the most expensive car in the world. Whether or not Bugatti holds the top spot for long remains to be seen, but now that they’ve broken both of these records, there’s sure to be some competition between themselves and other luxury and performance car makers. The Bugatti Veyron is by its nature a very expensive car. Now add to it a F1 license plate, which is also the most expensive one and you will get the ultimate machine. The two of them, together will be the stars at the MPH Show at London’s Earls Court between 5-8 November. The lucky owner of this car is Afzal Kahn, who was kind enough to put it on display.
So, if by any chance you are in London at that time, check it out! You will also have the chance to see the Ferrari FXX, Lamborghini GT600 and Pagani Zonda R.
The world’s most expensive Bugatti Veyron, complete with F1 number plate, will be a star attraction at this year’s MPH Show featuring Top Gear Live at London’s Earls Court between 5-8 November. If ever the phrase ‘if you need to ask the price, you can’t afford it’ was appropriate it’s now. But at the right price the car could be up for sale, according to owner Afzal Kahn.
He’s hoping his soft white 253mph supercar could be the perfect choice for newly crowned Formula One champion Jenson Button since it features the most expensive number plate sold in the UK.
Capable of catapulting the driver to 100mph in 5.5 seconds this particular 1,010 BHP Bugatti Veyron has no close modern rivals in terms of price tags. But show goers can be sure, if rivals exist, they’ll all be at MPH The Prestige and Performance Motor Show.
Already the ultra rare GTbyCITROEN, worth over £1 million, is scheduled to appear at the show alongside fire-breathing examples from Pagani and Koenigsegg. Rumours about the Ferrari FXX, Lamborghini GT600 and Pagani Zonda R making an appearance are also widespread.
